Dr Kate Woodthorpe is my lovely colleague and a Lecturer in Sociology at the University of Bath and a member of the Centre for Death and Society (CDAS). She speaks to Laurie Taylor on Thinking Allowed about our research we presented in a paper called “Through the Family Lens: How death illuminates the modern family” on 19 November 2012 at the BSA event “Death and the Family” organised by the Social Aspects of Death, Dying and Bereavement Study Group.
